MicrosoftHello everyone! I'm Gary. A passionate, project management professional currently with Microsoft. I have 7+ years of demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and executing large-scale web development projects.
My work primarily consists of three types of activities:
• Pre-engagement - identifying a need or opportunity, defining objectives, developing a high-level solution approach, and quantifying benefits.
• Engagement - developing detailed project plans, managing risks and issues.
• Post-engagement - training users on the new system, transferring knowledge to the client, and wrapping up loose ends.
In addition to being a project manager, I am also a certified scrum master and have experience working in an Agile environment. I am familiar with both waterfall and agile methodology.
I mentor young professionals and help them develop their skills in project management. I also teach them to identify a need, quantify the benefits, and develop a high-level solution approach.
